Now this really makes me feel old. There were two smoking cabins on most single tier planes. One in FC and one in Coach. FC consisted of at most 4 rows, and they pulled a curtain shut to close off the FC section. It was awful if you were a non smoker because the space was so small and at least 4 people were smoking and in some cases 8 smokers.
