You won't get the 500 points, they don't offer Plat amenities. Also no stay credit except on their highest rates. The rooms are nice, but the downside to having a washer/dryer in every room is that some people think doing laundry at midnight is a great idea. Makes for a nice rhythmic thumping to help you not sleep. After a night of this I moved to the Phoenician (double the price and a bargain, its worth 4x the Desert Oasis).

The property looks to be under-staffed. Their other problem is the awful stench in the corridors from the trash cans (as mentioned most people cook in their kitchens and take the trash out, but apparently not collected often enough by the hotel).
