I did experiment (only once!) with not having a window on a 777 and too the middle section aisle, as check in told me there was a light load and I could have 3 seats to myself. I was assigned 15D--it was horrible. I was served lst and had the (unwashed!) economy people looking in on me the whole time. I really didn't like it and felt like I was on display. I just wanted to hide under the many free pillows and blankets
