I would go with the aisle. Even though you can get out fairly easy it still feels cramped with someone blocking you in. I like to look out the window, but the ocean is only interesting for about 15 minutes.

I did an IAD-LHR roundtrip in row 13 windows, and it looked like there was about an inch more room, but I didn't measure it or anything.
