If I run in to an FA with a 'tude, there's nothing better that seeing them get put in their place a little bit. I was on a trip with a co-worker and he was showing me a device (well after take-off) and the FA freaked out, insisted it would interfere with the plane's equipment. The co-worker insists that it's not transmitting anything. She says the radio can't be turned off and tells him to turn it off, which he does. Given how rude she was about it, he got rather annoyed.
As we were deplaining he mentioned to the flight attendant that he had a PhD in Electrical Engineering, and was the lead of the team that had desgined the smartphone that she insisted couldn't have the radio turned off. I loved it when he said "I won't try to tell you how the emergency slide works, don't tell me how the phone I built works."
Normally I hate it when he gets his "super engineer" 'tude, but given the crappy service we had in F during the flight, I didn't mind one bit! :-)
