Had a similar occurrance flying ORD-MSP last weekend with my 11 yr old daughter. She was flying on an F award and I was on a CR-1 confirmed at the end of June when I purchased the ticket and got her award. We also got seat assignments 2 A-B at that time.

When we go to board, the exact same thing happened, the reader rejected my BP and I was moved over to the bulkhead 1-D. We also got no help from the FA but the person in 2-B agreed to move to the bulkhead seat. I know it wasn't a FAM, so I am wondering who has the status to bump me (1K) out of my seat. Can a UGS request my seat just by asking? I know there have been some previous threads on this, but thought I'd ask again about this type of seatuation. Thanks. B
