Other facts - was in row 3 of an A320 - no overhead space left as row 2 has none and 1 was actively reserved for row 1 by the FA (yeah for her).

I also was prompted to "upgrade" to E+ and one of the promises was "early on/off". So this was an upcharge for me.

Finally, I have worked in the airline industry for more years than I care to admit - and think that folks expect much more from an airline than is realistic or really what they can/should deliver. But I paid extra for something and they did not deliver.
