Maybe it's a trick to get people to join the PC. I don't find IAH nearly as bad as, say the D terminal in ATL. I was recently waiting for a flight ATL-DAY out of D-33, and that place was absolutely miserable with poor seating and terrible noise pollution from many blaring television sets. I'm surprised that people happily work in such environments.
