IAH should improve when the new concourse/terminal is completed. I agree that the food selection is somewhat lacking.

I've only been to Houston on biz trips and have always found the people to be friendly and helpfull.

The area around the Galleria is as nice as any "high rent district" in the country. Ample parking. Wide streets. Tremendous selection of retailers and restaurants.
