Please tell us which WorldClub denied you admission with a Platinum Card and a KL ticket. I am very surprised to hear that, because in the States those airlines claim that there is not supposed to be any difference at all between any of their tickets and flights. I didn't think that you can even buy a ticket for KL flights when you originate in North America with anything but an 012 NW ticket number. </font>
The actual "ticket number" is not factored in. You can purchase tix from any airline for just about any other airline. If you were on KL metal and had a NW FLIGHT NUMBER ie: codeshare on your boarding pass, you should have been admitted. If your boarding pass has ONLY a KL flight number you would not be eligible to use the Club. AMEX is quite specific with their rules about this.
