I thought they changed the domesitc so that even elites had to be in 1st class in order to get the better allowance. I know at first elites were exempt but I thought they got rid of that exemption.

If that's true the only way I could see for international would be to be upgraded on a domestic segment to first class.

As a side note I've NEVER had my bags weighed. Am I just lucky or is this the norm? I'm Plat and flew over 175k miles last year both domestic and international and have never had to have it weighed, and never have seen an agent make someone get them weighed.
