I've done it with many dines so far, no problem...
...if you can deal with the funny look you'll get from the waiter/waitress, you should have no problem
I especially do this with a colleague who is a fellow mile hound. We split the tab 50/50 and tip up enough so each one of us gets over the $15.00 dine minimum (for AA). I've even done it when I'm the only person dining, AND using the same CC for the multiple 'dines'.
