I get greeted about 80% of the time (and 100% on long haul) - the times I don't it is when the flight is at full load and a short one. I always get addressed by name (even in economy). On dinner flights in economy the ISM or Senior Purser regularly offers me wine from bus, or even first.

So I have no complaints at all in this regard.
