This was the thinking for my upcoming UA-EK First Class RTW trip.
P.S. Make sure you are on a DXB-BKK 773, as I believe they are currently the only planes on the route with the updated seats.
Be careful though, as I believe the DXB-BKK-HKG-BKK-DXB flight is also operated by a 773, which is not reconfigured. On the EK wesbite under timetables, look for "77W" (EK code for 777-300ER)
