To the OP: No I cannot confirm this.

Whatever they are preparing to implement, it appears as though it may not yet be fully implemented. On the DFW-HNL flight 123 for June 1, 2006 the availability is listed as follows:

F7 A7 P0 Y7 B7 H7 M7 K7 L7 V7 W0 G0 S0 N0 Q0 O0

I can book both an award and a YUP on AA.com for this flight, so it appears some of the information being passed on by AA CSR may be a bit premature, or wrong. Unless P is the full fare "premium" bucket; which would actually make more sense IMO, and be in line with current AA AFS service and other airlines' premium service designators.

Perhaps someone with expert flyer can decipher what is happening with the P inventory bucket.
