I Just flew CO/NW to SIN a few weeks ago... in coach. CO flights 1/2 full. NW to SIN was perhaps 2/3 full. Coach is not that bad if the plane is not full. Why pay a higher fare for the privilege of spending miles for the upgrade. It’s a long flight in coach and it’s a long flight up front too. Take the money you save and spend it in Bali instead.
