I was fumbling around on Continental today checking out some trans-oceanic fares in BF. I found a $8,000 round-trip fare between NYC and Tokyo. I've flown CO in BF between those two cities in the past for a fraction of that fare... and can't imagine the rationale for paying that type of fare for CO's product...especially when better seats/service are available on other carriers for much less.

What is CO's most expensive route (if this isn't it)... and do market pressures and the cost of CO's product really justify such a fare?
