Just tell your executives to get ready to go to lots of banquets and drink lots of white liquor and beer. Also have them get ready to be maddingly frustrated at the pace of negotiations.
If they go into it expecting things to get done quickly then they will be sorely disappointed. If they go into it with eyes open and ready to establish a close relationship with the potential partners then they will at worst make a good contact and at best make a good business relationship.
A good book to read is "Mr. China" about a foreigner coming to China to do business. Its funny and very readable and extremely accurate!
