It happened to me one time (as a Gold) where they mistook me for a P. I was put in a great room, but needless to say, I didn't get the amenity points
I'm sitting in room 1403 at the 4 Points Sunnyvale right now. Somehow my number went in with a preceding A rather than a G, though I just made the res last night and have been gold all year. The two other reservations I have for this weekend both have the G. 1403, by the way, is nestled between the fitness center and the HR office. Sadly, the adjoining door to the HR office is locked from their side.
