I flew CDG-BKK and back in AF C last June on a 2-class A340. I was a bit disappointed not to have the NEV cabin but was pleasantly surprised with the Evolution cabin, ie OTC seats, but with the new pitch ! Service was quite pleasant and efficient.
The lounge is CDG2C is OK, but the one in BKK is rather smallish and unimpressive. If you have enough time on the way back, the landside arrivals lounge is a nice place to freshen up with a shower and have your clothes ironed, but it requires you to go landside in 2C, walk over to 2F and go through passport control again.
