Has there been any recent talk of Delta offering "Lifetime" Crown Room Club Membership?

American Airlines, who once offerred Lifetime AAdmirals Club membership, and then withdrew it several years ago, will again offer Lifetime membership beginning this Fall (? only until December).

I was wondering if Delta has offered Lifetime membership some time over the past few years, or if anyone was aware of Delta's plans to do so.

I realize that given Delta's current financial position, there may be some who are interested and some who are not.
