I find it is usually over night. I have shopped and then checked the next morning to find they have posted ok. On more than one occasion (the start of this month for example) I have waited about 3-4 days for them to appear, so I am not entirely sure if it is a completely automatic system or it relies on some tesco bod somewhere standing over a big red button pressing it once every couple of days
