NZ could streamline by adopting the International Boarding passes for domestic services – At the gate an automatic stub collection machine automatically counts off the pax, shortening boarding time and making it easier to locate missing pax.

The Checked Baggage receipts could be printed directly onto a boarding pass (E.G. 7 pieces checked seq 086191590-2,3,4,5,6,7,8). This would mean doing away with ExpressCheck for Checked Luggage but I don’t believe that ExpressCheck actually saves any time for checking luggage - think of the saving of time, no more putting receipts on the back of boarding passes.

Priority could be printed onto the routing tag in a large font below the destination airport code, saving all the fiddling around that check in staff would do (if they wanted to) to properly tag priority luggage.
