Yes I dont particularly like the small domestic BPs - too small for the baggage check, fades over time (so if miles dont post properly dont wait too long to send it in).
Maybe domestic flights don't have to meet certain international requirement. As for BPs, I have taken Asiana domestic flights in South Korea where they used heat-sensitive papers as BPs, ones like eftpos slips which would fade away even more quickly. And one good thing I noticed was Asiana print their own FFP mile balance on the BP if you are in Asiana Club instead of the NIL on NZ.
