Partially correct, but the wrong plane. The Concordes tire blew when it hit a piece of metal that supposedly fell off of a CO jet that had departed before the concorde. Then the concordes tire blowing on take off caused a piece or rubber or something to puncture a fuel tank or a fuel line. I don't remember what happened to cause the fire, but I know that it was metal on the runway that exploded the AF Concordes tire.
