The way I read this page, you SHOULD get one HH point per USD spent on your event.

There is NO reference to having to negotiate ANYTHING in the contract. Edited to add: Oops... I'm wrong... I wasn't reading closely enough, it does say "Event Planner bonus points and airline miles must be agreed in advance with the hotel and stipulated in the event contract. " End edit.

The only "gotcha" I see is item #12 in the T&Cs.
