Are the CR1's limited to 2 earned per quarter, or is it 2 per 10,000 up to 8 total within a quarter? I am 150 miles short of 20,000 this quarter and don't want to miss an opportunity to earn 2 more.
Also, if only 8 CR1's can be earned over the year, how do other 1k's stay upgraded through all of their travel, especially transcons? Are there any other tricks to stay upgraded and is there a better chance of Op Ups (even when not oversold in Y) being a 1k?
Also received the much coveted drink chits, however is it true FA's will not take them and comp drinks? Any additional unnamed benefits to watch out for?
Finally made 1k after flying all Y transpac this year, hopefully it will make a difference. Thank you to all of FT's for all of the usefull information.
Limit of two CR1s per quarter based on 10K BIS miles.
Between CR1s and 500 milers, I always seem to have enough to upgrade all of my flights (I do mostly mid- and transcons).
As I'm almost always upgraded, I don't ever seem to need the drink chits. FAs don't tend to give away free drinks. Have a ton of chits that I give to colleagues.
