Good idea about the call button! I think it's standard procedure on CO to wait until all BF pax are inside the cabin before taking orders.

From my last 2 BF flights between EWR and NRT, both of the F/As went by rows. However, I had no trouble getting my (desired) Japanese Bento box.

I suggest that CO also should put special codes (so F/As can tell the difference between paid/upgrade/reward BF and operational upgrade BF) along with elite status. However, distinguishing paid/upgrade/reward BF would be absurd.

I was a bit annoyed on my outbound flight, which was dominated by (happy) operationally upgraded passengers, to see a few operationally upgraded passengers get meal selection ahead of me, as I was a confirmed pax in BF.
