I have yet to figure out any system to the madness on BF flights meal choice order. If you have a strong preference, board early, read the menu quickly, and ring your FA button and let them know what you want. I usually do the Exec Meal option and I just use this as my entry into the conversation. I don't need a two hour 4 course meal across the Atlantic, I need sleep!
