While I've never had issues with the Amex card, I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in about Amex Travel.

Many of you know that I used to work for AA. 4 years of my time there I spent as Customer Service Manager at one of their 10 busiest airports. In that 4 years, I had more customers of Amex Travel show up at the airport with itinerary problems than any other agency hands down. I mean... it was enough for me to still remember to this day. Almost weekly, someone would show up thinking they were ready to go when Amex hadn't bothered to issue their tickets.

But back on topic... Glad you've enjoyed AA, and welcome! I get stuck on DL every once and a while. And when I do, boy do I miss status! Never had any specific issues although they did close my SkyMiles account for lack of activity while my number was sitting in a live reservation. That was interesting.
