IMO, I do not think you are owed anything according to the policy. From what I understand each property can make their own rules.

BTW, I stayed there last weekend as a Diamond. The lounge is nice, but I think I would rather have the full breakfast like you have. I enjoyed the hotel overall, especially for the rate I got.
