The OP said they dropped Amex due to problems. I too swore them off for life back in 1985. I've been forced to use their Corp Card at two employers but I shirk that rule whenever possible. To top it off, my current employer went with Amex Travel this Jan. I've had 4 out of approx 24 roundtrips book properly. I've quit using AT and am ready to quit my current employer if forced to use them. I'm tired of showing up at the airport with no booking thanks to Amex.
