I agree that the ability to get a reservation when sold out is fantastic. I had been "dogging" a city for about six months and no type of availability ever surfaced.

When I became Diamond I called and was able to make a reservation. As I must make this trip, in this case it is a service I needed (and not just wanted . . .like many times . . . !)
