I just got off the phone with AA reservations and am confused. Am looking at a trip to the far east and see where flights on JAL only get 70% miles and those on CX in the M fare do not get miles. If they carry AA flight numbers and are both M fares, do they get full mileage or does the fare have to be H on CX and Y on JAL even with an AA flight number? Thought I had the answer and am tired of researching to be only still confused. They are pricing my trip out with some fare changes to be eligible for miles and I must wait on pricing. I can get an internet fare but the CX flight is an M fare and the internet people said they can only change it to a Y fare which shoots up the price a lot. Thanks in advance for any help.
