Thanks mahasamatman. Well, yikes, a B fare is nearly $2400, while a Z is only $1300. Explain that one to me. Yeah, I know, flexibility. Somehow, spending $1400 more than a Q-UP in order to save 7K miles for upgrading doesn't quite seem worth it. I imagine it would set off some alarm bells in accounting, too
