In retrospect, the timing seems a bit tight for a high-speed. So yes, I suspect you're right in that it's an earlier-arriving (and better rested) crew that flies 214 out in the morning.
And It was quite a pleasant surprise this morning to actually get where I was going on-time and in reasonable comfort!
