Personally, I'd stay at the Kea Lani with kids - have done all 3 & prefer the KL by far. Main reason - All- beautifully decorated Suites!!! Large suite with entry with fridge & microwave, Living room with large TV, DVD, CD players, pull-out sofa bed, etc. Large bedroom with King bed, another TV, etc, very large bathroom with 2 sinks, separate toilet, huge bath & walk-in shower. Best of all, large wrap-around balcony/patio - chaises, table & chairs, you can live out here! Unless you are getting 2 rooms at another hotel, this is really the way to go & ensure & enjoy your privacy on your vacation. We would put kids to bed in our room, sit up on the patio or in living room & enjoy the evening, then move them to the pull out sofa in the living room when it was our time to sleep. 2 kids pools with slide connecting, swim-up bar (for smoothies, of course - my daughter adores this), lovely & private adult pool, nice beach, much smaller resort - felt more comfortable & more secure there with letting kids wander a bit on their own - they'd never find their way back at the GW!, free bikes to ride all over Wailea & Kihei, complimentary limo transfers within the area, much better restaurants than the other 2, excellent buffet breakfast & romantic lobby bar to hang in once the kids are asleep. Much classier than GW, which you couldn't pay me to stay at (but do love that Spa!) and I agree with a previous poster - please don't take your kids to the 4 Ssns - leave it to the adults - it's crowded enough around that pool! And the looks you get from the people without kids...
