I was going to add that it's relatively easy to find street parking in Seattle - just be sure to read ALL of the signs before you leave your car overnight. But for $5/day, I'd probably just take that. Seems reasonable...

I stay a lot at the Renaissance and it's something like $22/day! But fortunately, I usually get free overnight street parking within 100 feet of the door - and never more than maybe a quarter-mile worst case.

Even though I'm there on business and I know lots of colleagues who stay at the Kimpton and expense $30/day valet, I simply can't bring myself to charge my client an arm and a leg to park a car. I'd rather get 'em for a nice sushi dinner or something...
