The unmemorable offer we had featured two FREE bottles of something called 'Fizz' from a champagne producer said to be worth £20 or so (sorry, e-mail deleted and I can't remember which producer).

Now middle class Brits call champagne fizz, don't they? To offer fizz sounds like they're offering champagne. But if they were offering champagne they'd say champagne. So what is this fizz?

And who pays the 'normal' price from this merchant, anyway ?

Enough of this poor quality marketing. Black mark to the BA Wine Club .
