I will send my own request to confirm, but if this is the case, then I dont mind using my old NW number to log into their system, as long as I can complete the booking as a CO plat with my CO number. I understand the position of the CO folks who dont have NW accounts, and they should not be forced to register for another program just to book flights. I still think you can get better fares, and certainly more innovative routings through Orbitz and Expedia...however, booking through them will require a second call to NW, as their booking engines wont input a FF account which does not match the carrier being booked on, at least that is what I have experienced.
