I've never said or written that I object to it. I don't. I have absolutely zero problem with someone making as much money as they possibly can.
If they can get it. Which they can't, because others are willing to do it for less. "Back in the day" the mechanics were worth the money they negotiated...but economic conditions have changed, and there is now a pool of workers that can fill their jobs for less money. End of story. That's business, pure and simple. You can say it's bad business if you'd like...that doesn't change the fact that it's the way the world works. Denying reality doesn't make it any less real. As a business owner...which you say you are...I'm sure you've heard the term "free-market economy".
And I've yet to see you offer any proof that there is a linear relationship between the salary of a mechanic and the safety of an airline, as you asserted earlier. If you'd like to be taken as anything more than a fool, you really need to start backing up your ranting with some evidence.
