Not that you asked, but I would definitely reconsider staying in town. It is charming and has some good restaurants, but the slopeside development has really boomed. On top of great hotels, they have developed lots of bars and restaurants. You can get into town easily from the slopes, especially for a dinner. If you ski at all, it really pays to stay on the slopes.
I stayed at the Wort Hotel several years ago and enjoyed it. I wouldn't consider it the most "luxurous" hotel around, but if they are offering a good deal, i would imagine it would be fine. I truely enjoyed my stay and the room was very nice.
We also stayed out at Teton Village this last January and enjoyed it as well. it is only about a 15 minute drive to town. If you plan to ski, you might consider staying there. The have a fs there. When we went last January, we stayed at the Snake River Lodge - a Rock Resort. It too is a nice hotel - not 5* - very nice. The staff was very helpful!
