Delta prefers the 767 on international routes because they can fill them. Delta cannot fill a 777 on most of their international routes.
Also, seeing as how the 767 is the most commonly used plane across the Atlantic, it seems people have no problems with them. I dont want to know what you think about CO using 757s across the pond. Must be a human rights violation then.
Since my transatlantic tickets are bought on my nickel, that usually means the back of the bus for me. I'd def prefer the back of a 767 to the back of a 777. The very worst seat on the 767 is only 1 seat from an aisle. There is no personal IFE, but I don't care about that anyway. Getting from a window seat to the aisle on the 777 can be a challenge. And on a 8-9 hour flight, most of us need to visit the lavatory once or twice.
As for the CO 757s, I can't imagine what that would be like. The FAs must go crazy trying to serve from a single aisle while pax are trying to get up and down to the lavatory.
