I couldn't agree more, but the scale is tipped so much towards union-bashing in this thread, it's hard not to respond to some of the malicious comments.

Perhaps we could discuss why NW execs took a bonus after their success in gaining concessions from the pilot union? Bonuses that, all told, totaled more than $1 billion? How much did NW lose last year, something like $800 million? Yeah...
