Confirmed new setup on A330 Business Class
The forward cabin will have 36 seats, one row must go. The rear cabin will disappear and become Economy Extra, so there will be many more Economy Extra seats
And yes, I'm calling it Economy Extra, because SAS changed the name BACK to E Extra instead of Economy Flex.
Confirmed new setup on A340 Business Class
The mini cabin will be kept Business Class on the 340.
My immediate thought is it will be much harder getting op ups on the trans Atlantic flight.
Ha, I was correct in my assumption -- at least about the 330. So what about the 340. Are they keeping it as is?? They can only get one row of sleeper in the mini-cabin.
Is that because C class loads are higher on 330 routes (like EWR, ORD) vs. long haul to Asia. Ironically, it is the longer hauls (340) where you might want to sleep.
