I do support driving down wages when they are above market value. We are in a world capitalist economy where we must all compete. Forced unions have dramatically hurt US competitiveness in the world economy and have had a severe inpact on the airline industry. This industry is losing billions annually. I believe that 4 of the 6 major carriers (UA,US,DL,NW) will be in bankrupcy within 6 months(UA,US already are). Wages above market and productivity below competitors due to union work rules are a large reason. If you are interested in all the ways forced unions have hurt American workers look at the national right to work site. http://www.nrtw.org/ No one should be required to belong to a union to get an job. We need to support NW and the management of the other legacy carriers as they attempt to bring sanity to their labor costs.
