Here's the deal: I've already made Platinum, and I've got my stays planned out to maximize the summer promo. My wife is a base member (8 stays) and needs two more stays to get the 5K from the promo and to make Silver.

If I book her into the local Marriott, can I put my name down as a guest? Then I show up and pay, and tell them "she'll be along later". That way, she would get the stay credit.

How would you work this?
