I am not shopping, just wanted to see what all of the fuss is about. I am really happy with porsche. I drive it daily, and it is comfortable and reliable (it actually is a daily driver). ( I also have a beater truck for the ranch and the hard rain.) My only complaint would be that I wish the hatch opened liked the targa, and the low profile tires can get noisy at highway speeds on rough roads (graded). But that is what the stereo is for.
Thanks for the tips and I will go by the Wynn to check out the dealership. Do they really charge an admission to get in (how tacky)?
My reluctance with a Ferrari is that it breaks a lot, especially with electronic problems and the engines do not last very long. I have heard that it is not uncommon to have to replace the engine at 50k, and just like an airplane, a Ferrari's value is all on the engine. That is why you can get a higher mile Ferrari pretty cheap.
My impression is that a Ferrari is more of a sculpture to be taken out on that occasional Sunday drive. I love performance cars, but they should also be somewhat functional.
Thanks for the link to the coupon.
