I have no problem moving to Omni, but upon re-reviewing everything above, including the label for the site, I'm not sure I agree, but I will go with the consensus and don't want to make waves. Nevertheless, a discusssion about which of these essential electronic FT compendiums is better, seems to me to be consistent with:
1. The baord's description: "the latest frequest flyer buzz" which imples stuff that frequent flyers are talking about, of which this is certainly a relevant topic -- at least for domestic FT's. I know that whenever I pull one out pre-flight, my seatmate invariably inquires about my experience;
2. Discussion about various dining programs (getting my email efficiently on the road is more important to me than saving money on a small select group of restuarants);
3. The difference between various credit card programs;
4. Hotel, restaurant or airline options in incredibly remote or unusual places, etc. which I'll never get to (again, vs. impact of wireless email on the everyday traveller)...
I certainly have no problem with any of the above. If there's a post about the best hotel in Southern Turkey, I just don't read it. In fact, it seems as if our creators intentionally defined this topic to be relatively broad and open.
I don't know how/where you draw the line here...and I generally vote for openness and inclusion vs. exclusion and pettiness.
Lastly, who really cares??? does this rise to the level of a particularly offensive act or situation?
