Assuming all runs to time, this should be OK. If it's a weekend, take a cab. If it's a weekday, the bridges across the Clyde will be bunged so take the bus down to Paisley Station then get the local service along to Glasgow Central.
Bear in mind that Aug 29th is not a public holiday in Scotland (although what that means for train services north of the border I dinne ken)
